Well, what if it’s your first time ordering a vegan dish online and you don’t quite know which meal options to pick? There are over 50 entrees’ on their website, and choosing can be hard, even for seasoned vegans visiting the website for the first time.
Luckily, Veestro offers a starter pack to help anyone having trouble filling their box. The starter pack is a ten-meal box with the staff’s favorite dishes and one juice and is a delicious way to introduce one to the world of Veestro vegetarian meals.
There are also several themed one-time boxes available for order. These include a 21-day Kickstarter pack for people looking to start a vegan diet but don’t quite know where to begin.
Veestro will send you 21 meals; you eat one a day as you ease into a vegan diet. Other themed boxes include Meatless Monday and a 30-day Wedding Prep Pack.

What is in the Veestro box
The food arrives packaged in a vacuum-sealed box and frozen with dry ice. The meals are in recyclable packaging (pouches made from BPA-free plastic or compostable carton trays), with nutritional information listed on every meal package.
Once you get your meal, Veestro advises that you;
- Store meals in the freezer. Their food can last up to 8 weeks in a freezer.
- Keep a day or two worth of food in the refrigerator to thaw out. Their meals last a maximum of 3-5 days in the fridge.

How long does it take to prepare Veestro meals?
Veestro meals come pre-cooked so once the dry ice has thawed, preparing the dishes is pretty easy.
Some like kale salad and soba noodles are ready to eat after thawing, while others like curries, eggplant casserole, and enchilada casserole need to be reheated in the oven or on your stovetop for a couple of minutes.

Veestro pricing isn’t exactly cheap but is definitely what you would expect from a kitchen offering high-quality vegan meals. Prices are at the time of my writing.
